We are delighted to re-open Long Ashes Park to our holiday caravan and lodge owners from Saturday 4th July. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our loyal team, customers and wider community for your support over the past three months.

Holiday Home Owners
We know you have been looking forward to returning to your holiday home. We are prepared for a safe reopening with all necessary COVID-19 prevention measures in place. Our team have undergone training and have been provided with appropriate PPE including hand sanitiser, masks and gloves. We have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting, paying extra attention to high-touch areas using fogging machines and sanitiser.

If you or any members of your household have COVID-19 symptoms, we ask that you do not visit your holiday home. If you develop symptoms whilst at Long Ashes Park, please self-isolate in your holiday home, do not visit reception or The Gamekeeper’s Inn and contact NHS 111 immediately.

Whilst at Long Ashes, please adhere to social distancing guidelines and the safety measures in place. On entry to reception or The Gamekeeper’s Inn, please use the hand sanitiser provided and pay by card wherever possible.

When visiting The Gamekeeper’s Inn or Envy Hairdressing, we are required to hold your contact details, along with the date and time of your visit for 21 days for the NHS Test and Trace system.

As your holiday home has not been used for an extended period of time, please run the taps and showers for a minimum of five minutes before using them in order to flush clean water through the system. Remove the shower heads and point the hose away from you while flushing them through.

Please also check your gas levels and that no electricity circuit breakers have tripped.

When using the bins, wear gloves where possible and wash or sanitise your hands immediately after. We recommend bringing hand sanitiser, gloves, hand soap and disinfectant with you when you visit.

Please adhere to the social distancing guidelines for gatherings which are currently a maximum of six people from two households. Children must be supervised at all times.

You are welcome to walk freely throughout the park, at all times observing social distancing from other customers and the park team.

Reception will be open daily from 8am to 5pm. Where possible, please contact reception on 01756 752261 to reduce physical contact. Please do not approach grounds staff whilst they are carrying out maintenance and changing gas bottles.

The Gamekeeper’s Inn
The Gamekeeper’s Inn is reopening at 12pm on Saturday 4th July and will be open daily, serving food from 12 – 9pm.

Booking for restaurant tables is essential, please contact The Gamekeeper’s Inn on 01756 752434 to make a reservation. Currently, the maximum table size is six guests. Furniture has been rearranged to meet these requirements and provide sufficient social distancing. They will not be offering drinks at the bar, table service will be provided for both food and drinks.

The Gamekeeper’s Inn is also providing a takeaway service daily from 12 – 8pm, with collection from the main bar. Please order your takeaway on 01756 752434.

Envy Hairdressing
Envy Hairdressing is reopening on Tuesday 7th July. Only one customer will be allowed in the salon at any time. We are offering a reduced menu of services to begin with. To make an appointment please phone 01756 752261.

Woodlands Café and Play Park
Woodlands Café and the play park also remain closed until further notice.

Leisure Club
We are delighted to announce that we will be reopening Long Ashes Leisure Club on Saturday 25th July.

The safety of our members and team is our top priority. While things will look a little different to usual, we look forward to welcoming you back to resume your health and wellness routine.

The leisure facilities and Woodlands café will be open Monday to Friday, 7am to 8pm and Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 7pm.

We will be reducing capacity in our gym and swimming pool to allow for social distancing. Gym equipment has been spaced out and all free weights have been removed. We are currently unable to open our steam room and sauna, however the swimming pool and jacuzzi will be open.

You will be required to book a 45 minute session for using the swimming pool or gym, if you wish to use both, you will need to book two separate 45 minute sessions as you cannot move between the swimming pool and gym within one 45 minute session. Please ensure that you arrive and leave on time as we have allocated a 15 minute time slot between sessions to allow us to fully clean and fog the facilities before the next session.

Sessions will be available to book on our website or by contacting reception. Further details will be provided shortly on how to book your sessions online.

The changing rooms and lockers will only be available for guests booked onto a swim session. We ask that gym users arrive in gym clothing and shower and change at home.

Due to our reduced capacity for social distancing, until further notice we will not be allowing visitors to use the leisure facilities with a guest pass. The facilities will only be available for members, spa and hotel guests.
Unless you have paid for the year upfront, we will not be automatically reinstating memberships on 25th July as we know that many customers’ personal circumstances have changed. Memberships will remain on hold unless you contact us to confirm that you would like to restart your membership. We will not take any membership fees unless you restart your membership. If you would like to reinstate your membership, please contact us as soon as possible on 01756 752261 or

If you reinstate your membership, payment will be taken by direct debit on 1st August and monthly thereafter. We are required to collect and hold all customers entry and exit times for 21 days for the NHS Test and Trace system and you will therefore be required to sign in and out at reception each time you visit. For this reason, it is also essential that all contact details and medical information we hold for you are correct. If there have been any changes to the information that we hold, please inform us at the time of contacting us to reinstate your membership.

When visiting us, please adhere to social distancing at all times. If you have children with you, please ensure they are supervised and adhering to social distancing at all times. Protective screens are in place at reception and Woodlands café to protect both members and our team. Signage is in place throughout the facilities to help members follow the guidelines.

Our cleaning schedules and procedures have been enhanced, including the use of sanitiser and a fogging machine to ensure that the facilities and equipment have been thoroughly disinfected. Hand sanitiser is provided throughout the facilities, please use it on entry and throughout your time at the leisure club. You are required to sanitise each piece of gym equipment once you have finished using it, sanitiser and disposable paper is provided throughout the gym.

Our team have been issued with PPE and trained on new ways of working and cleaning procedures, and will be responsible for ensuring the guidelines are adhered to.

Please do not visit us if you or any member of your household has symptoms of COVID-19. Contact NHS 111 immediately and self-isolate.

Following today's (Friday 31 July 2020) Government announcement, we will be unable to offer treatments on the face until 15 August at the earliest. We are currently contacting everyone with an appointment.

We will be open Wednesday to Saturday from 10am until 5pm offering a restricted menu of treatments including manicures, pedicures, waxing, massage, body scrubs and wraps.
