Update

Following the Government's latest announcement, we are delighted that we will be reopening as follows:

Holiday Home Owners

  • We are delighted to announce that we are reopening Long Ashes Park to our holiday caravan and lodge owners from Monday 12th April. The Government has announced that there will not be any regional tiers so all restrictions will be eased across England at the same time. We are prepared for a safe reopening with all necessary COVID-19 procedures in place.
  • If you or any members of your household have COVID-19 symptoms, we ask that you do not visit your holiday home. If you develop symptoms whilst at Long Ashes Park, please self-isolate in your holiday home, do not visit reception or any of the on-site facilities and contact NHS 111 immediately.
  • As your holiday home has not been used for an extended period of time, please run the taps and showers for a minimum of five minutes before using them in order to flush clean water through the system. Remove the shower heads and point the hose away from you while flushing them through.
  • Please also check your gas levels and that no electricity circuit breakers have tripped.
  • When using the bins, wear gloves where possible and wash or sanitise your hands immediately after. We recommend bringing hand sanitiser, a face covering, gloves, hand soap and disinfectant with you when you visit.
  • Whilst at Long Ashes Park, please adhere to social distancing guidelines and the safety measures in place. On entry to any of the facilities, please wear a face covering, use the hand sanitiser provided and pay by card wherever possible.
  • When visiting the on-site facilities, we are required to hold your contact details, along with the date and time of your visit for 21 days for the NHS Test and Trace system.

Monday 12th April

  • Please adhere to the social distancing rules which are one household indoors and the rule of six from two households outdoors.
  • Reception will be open daily from 7am to 7pm. Where possible, please contact reception on 01756 752261 to reduce physical contact.
  • The swimming pool, jacuzzi and gym will be open daily from 7am to 7pm. However the sauna and steam room must remain closed at this time.
  • Long Ashes Pure Spa will be open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm. Our full treatment menu will be available including beauty essentials such as manicures, pedicures, waxing and eyelash enhancements. Treat yourself to a massage, Elemis facial or spa day.   • Envy Hairdressing will be open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9am to 4pm and alternative Sundays from 10am to 2pm. Gemma offers both men and women’s cuts, colours and styling. Only one customer will be allowed in the salon at any time. To make an appointment, please phone 01756 752261.
  • The Gamekeeper’s Inn will be serving food and drinks outside in the beer gardens. Covered areas will be provided so that come rain or shine you may enjoy time at the pub! Food will be served from 12 – 8pm and drinks will be served from 12 – 9.30pm. To be considerate to our neighbours, we will be closing at 10pm. Table service will be provided for both food and drinks. There is no longer a requirement to order food with alcoholic drinks so you are welcome to join us for a pint or glass of wine!
  • The Gamekeeper’s Inn will also be providing a takeaway service daily from 12 – 8pm, with collection from the main bar. Please order your takeaway on 01756 752434.
  • Before visiting The Gamekeeper’s Inn, please read the COVID-19 procedures on their website www.gamekeeperinn.co.uk/covid-19-update
  • The play park is now open, please keep a 2 metre distance between children, sanitise your hands before, during and after use and wash your hands thoroughly once you exit the park. Please do not consume food or drink in the park and take any litter home with you.
  • Woodlands Café in the leisure club will remain closed at this time.

Monday 17th May

  • Please adhere to the social distancing rules which are six people from two households indoors or 30 people outdoors.
  • The leisure club will open fully including the sauna and steam room.
  • The Gamekeeper’s Inn will open for full service in the bar and restaurant. Drinks will be served from 10am – 11pm and food will be served from 12 – 9pm. Table service will be provided for both food and drinks.

Monday 21st June

  • It is currently expected that this will be the date that life may return to normal with no restrictions on social distancing.

Please Note

The Government has advised these dates are dependent on four tests being met at each step. They are subject to change if the data shows that any of the four tests have not been met.

Important Information For Your Visit

Face Coverings

  • The Government require everyone to wear a face covering in hospitality premises (hotels, bars, pubs, restaurants and cafes), except when seated at a table to eat or drink. Some exceptions do apply.

Our Team

  • Have undergone comprehensive training in our COVID-19 risk assessments, new procedures, social distancing and increased hygiene protocols.
  • Have been provided with appropriate PPE including masks, visors, gloves and hand sanitiser, and trained in the use of each.
  • Will be required to self-isolate if they have COVID-19 symptoms.

Safety Measures

  • Whilst at Long Ashes, please adhere to social distancing guidelines and the safety measures in place. On entry to reception or The Gamekeeper’s Inn, please use the hand sanitiser provided and pay by card wherever possible.
  • When visiting any of the onsite facilities, we are required to hold your contact details, along with the date and time of your visit for 21 days for the NHS Test and Trace system.

Test and Trace

  • The government have updated their test and trace legal requirements.
  • All businesses in leisure, tourism, hospitality and close contact services must now ask every customer over the age of 16 to scan the NHS QR code using their NHS COVID-19 app, or provide their name and contact details, not just a lead member of the group.
  • Hospitality venues should verify that an individual has checked in using the QR code by reviewing the individual’s phone screen. This is not necessary if they have already provided their contact details.
  • If a customer does not use the NHS COVID-19 app, they must provide their name and contact details in an alternate format.
  • We must keep these records for 21 days and provide data to NHS Test and Trace if requested.
  • Hospitality venues must also take reasonable steps to refuse entry to anyone who refuses to participate.

Leisure Club

  • The safety of our members and team is our top priority. While things will look a little different to usual, we look forward to welcoming you back to resume your health and wellness routine.
  • We will be reducing capacity in our gym and swimming pool to allow for social distancing. Some gym equipment has been removed to allow adequate spacing. Due to popular demand, we have now added free weights back into the gym.
  • You are required to book a 45 minute session for using the gym or swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. If you wish to use both areas, you will need to book two separate 45 minute sessions as you cannot move between the swimming pool and gym within one 45 minute session. Sessions begin on the hour every hour. Please ensure that you arrive and leave the gym, swimming pool or changing rooms on time as we have allocated a 15 minute time slot between sessions to allow us to fully clean and fog the facilities before the next session.
  • Please book your sessions by contacting reception on 01756 752261. You may book sessions up to 5 days in advance.
  • The changing rooms and lockers will only be available for guests booked onto a swim session. We ask that gym users arrive in gym clothing and shower and change at home.
  • We are required to collect and hold all customers entry and exit times for 21 days for the NHS Test and Trace system and you will therefore be required to sign in and out at reception each time you visit. For this reason, it is also essential that all contact details and medical information we hold for you are correct. If there have been any changes to the information that we hold, please inform us at the time of contacting us to reinstate your membership.
  • When visiting us, please adhere to social distancing at all times. If you have children with you, please ensure they are supervised and adhering to social distancing at all times. Protective screens are in place at reception and Woodlands café to protect both members and our team. Signage is in place throughout the facilities to help members follow the guidelines.
  • Our cleaning schedules and procedures have been enhanced, including the use of sanitiser and a fogging machine to ensure that the facilities and equipment have been thoroughly disinfected. Hand sanitiser is provided throughout the facilities, please use it on entry and throughout your time at the leisure club. You are required to sanitise each piece of gym equipment once you have finished using it, sanitiser and disposable paper is provided throughout the gym.
  • Our team have been issued with PPE and trained on new ways of working and cleaning procedures, and will be responsible for ensuring the guidelines are adhered to.
