COVID-19 Tier Level Update for Long Ashes Park

We are delighted to announce that we will be reopening on Wednesday 2nd December.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful team, loyal customers and wider community, who have once again supported us over the past month. It means a lot to us and we look forward to seeing you over the festive period. The health and safety of our team and customers is our priority and we have adapted our procedures and put additional measures in place in accordance with Government guidance.

3 Tier Alert Level
The Government have updated the 3 tier alert level system. Once we reopen on 2nd December, we will be in Tier 2 - High alert level. This means that the rule of 6 indoors and outdoors is in place.

You may visit us in a maximum group size of 6 people (including children) from one household or support bubble.

We politely request that if you or any members of your household have COVID-19 symptoms, please do not visit us, stay at home and self-isolate. Symptoms include a new continuous cough, high temperature or loss of or change to your normal sense of taste or smell -

Face Coverings
The Government now require everyone to wear a face covering in a wider range of settings including shops, supermarkets, shopping centres, banks, beauty salons, vets and visitor attractions. You are also required to wear a face covering in hospitality premises (bars, pubs, restaurants and cafes), except when seated at a table to eat or drink. Some exceptions do apply. Our Team
Have undergone comprehensive training in our COVID-19 risk assessments, new procedures, social distancing and increased hygiene protocols

Have been provided with appropriate PPE including masks, visors, gloves and hand sanitiser, and trained in the use of each

Will be required to self-isolate if they have COVID-19 symptoms

Long Ashes Park
Reception will be open daily from 7am to 7pm.

Where possible, please contact reception on 01756 752261 to reduce physical contact. Please do not approach grounds staff whilst they are carrying out maintenance and changing gas bottles.

Whilst at Long Ashes, please adhere to social distancing guidelines and the safety measures in place. On entry to reception or The Gamekeeper’s Inn, please use the hand sanitiser provided and pay by card wherever possible.

When visiting any of the onsite facilities, we are required to hold your contact details, along with the date and time of your visit for 21 days for the NHS Test and Trace system.

Please adhere to the social distancing guidelines for gatherings which are currently a maximum of six people (including children) from one household or support bubble. Children must be supervised at all times.

You are welcome to walk freely throughout the park, at all times observing social distancing from other customers and the park team.

Holiday Home Owners
We politely request that if you or any members of your household have COVID-19 symptoms, please do not visit your holiday home, stay at home and self-isolate. Symptoms include a new continuous cough, high temperature or loss of or change to your normal sense of taste or smell. If you develop symptoms whilst at Long Ashes Park, please self-isolate in your holiday home, do not visit reception or The Gamekeeper’s Inn and contact NHS 111 immediately.


The Gamekeeper’s Inn
The Gamekeeper’s Inn will be open daily, serving food from 12pm to 9pm. The Gamekeeper's Inn is required to close at 11pm, with last orders at 10pm, therefore the last sitting for dinner will be at 8.30pm.

Booking for restaurant tables is essential, please book online or contact The Gamekeeper’s Inn on 01756 752434 to make a reservation. Currently, the maximum table size is six guests (including children) from one household or support bubble.

The Gamekeeper’s Inn is only allowed to serve alcohol with a substantial meal. If you would like to drink alcohol, you will be required to order a meal. They have introduced a drink and dine menu with meals for only £7 to make this more affordable for customers. Table service will be provided for both food and drinks, please do not order at the bar.

The Gamekeeper’s Inn is also providing a takeaway service daily from 12pm to 8pm, with collection from the main bar. Please order your takeaway on 01756 752434.

Long Ashes Pure Spa will be open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm. Our full treatment menu is available including beauty essentials such as manicures, pedicures, waxing and eyelash enhancements. Treat yourself to a massage, Elemis facial or spa day. Visit for full details.

Envy Hairdressing
Envy Hairdressing will reopen on Wednesday 2nd December and will be open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9am to 4pm and alternate Sundays from 10am to 2pm. Gemma offers both men and women’s cuts, colours and styling.

Only one customer will be allowed in the salon at any time. To make an appointment, please phone 01756 752261.

Woodlands Café
Woodlands café will be open daily from 7am to 7pm serving drinks and cakes. For the moment, full meals are not being served, however, they are available from The Gamekeeper’s Inn.

Catch up with friends and family over coffee and cake or let your children have fun creating their own create-a-shake.

Play Park
The play park is now open, please keep a 2 metre distance between children, sanitise your hands before, during and after use and wash your hands thoroughly once you exit the park. Please do not consume food or drink in the park and take any litter home with you.

Leisure Club
The leisure facilities will reopen on Wednesday 2nd December and will be open daily from 7am to 7pm.

The swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and gym are open.

The safety of our members and team is our top priority. While things will look a little different to usual, we look forward to welcoming you back to resume your health and wellness routine.

We will be reducing capacity in our gym and swimming pool to allow for social distancing. Some gym equipment has been removed to allow adequate spacing. Due to popular demand, we have now added free weights back into the gym.

You are required to book a 45 minute session for using the gym or swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. If you wish to use both areas, you will need to book two separate 45 minute sessions as you cannot move between the swimming pool and gym within one 45 minute session. Sessions begin on the hour every hour. Please ensure that you arrive and leave the gym, swimming pool or changing rooms on time as we have allocated a 15 minute time slot between sessions to allow us to fully clean and fog the facilities before the next session.

The changing rooms and lockers will only be available for guests booked onto a swim session. We ask that gym users arrive in gym clothing and shower and change at home.

We are now offering guest passes for the leisure facilities, they will be available Monday to Friday between 11am and 4pm. A 45 minute gym session is £5, a 45 minute swimming pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi session is £7.50. If you would like 2 x 45 minute sessions, one for the gym and one for the swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi it is £10.

We are required to collect and hold all customers entry and exit times for 21 days for the NHS Test and Trace system and you will therefore be required to sign in and out at reception each time you visit. For this reason, it is also essential that all contact details and medical information we hold for you are correct. If there have been any changes to the information that we hold, please inform us at the time of contacting us to reinstate your membership.

When visiting us, please adhere to social distancing at all times. If you have children with you, please ensure they are supervised and adhering to social distancing at all times. Protective screens are in place at reception and Woodlands café to protect both members and our team. Signage is in place throughout the facilities to help members follow the guidelines.

Our cleaning schedules and procedures have been enhanced, including the use of sanitiser and a fogging machine to ensure that the facilities and equipment have been thoroughly disinfected. Hand sanitiser is provided throughout the facilities, please use it on entry and throughout your time at the leisure club. You are required to sanitise each piece of gym equipment once you have finished using it, sanitiser and disposable paper is provided throughout the gym.

Our team have been issued with PPE and trained on new ways of working and cleaning procedures, and will be responsible for ensuring the guidelines are adhered to.
